Excellent Teen Movie

Great Teen movie.. Recommend

Good Fun

Really ordered this for the kids to watch - but I've always enjoyed the TV series episodes myself. This was good and worth watching - but a bit lacking in the special effects that they developed later.

Better than the TV series

The Harvey is better looking than the TV series and is less dumb. Also this movie is definitly better than the TV series in some respects with the characters and less dumbing down. But the casting of spells was a bit dodgy just rhyme? This movie launched the TV series and the same actress Melissa Joan Hart plays Sabrina. The aunts are well cast too and Salem - well Salem is cool, as is the best friend Marty.

Youthful Magic

So this was never going to be quite as fun as the original TV series, but it was rather endearing. Development of the characters was never going to be a strong point either so one wasn't too disappointed that there wasn't any really - the girl finds out that looking good is no indication of being what's on the inside about sums it up.

But enough with the carping, Sabrina gets to play some nice tricks on her catty school colleagues as she attempts to come to terms with a new school and a new town and new powers.

Well worth spending a lazy Sunday afternoon watching, especially if you're a young, or just pre, teen girl (of which I'm neither :-)) but it was simple fun.

Loved this film kids loved it too shame there is only one movie, never the less we have the series to watch

Disapointing Movie

I was really looking foward to seeing this movie because I love Sabrina the tennage witch. But I was left very disapoited. Aunt Hilda and Zelda were played by different people as was Harvey. And where was Libby? Gone, to be replaced by a girl that isn't even a good enough actor for me to remember her name! It said that this movie was the one 'that started it all' but the movie I remember that was on telly was completely different.
