Harrison Ford is wonderfully witty and surprisingly romantic in this fabulous remake. .................................................. ....................... By Cathryn (6 reviews) from Oldham , 06 Dec 2011I loved Billy Wilder's version but always felt Humphrey Bogart was horribly miscast as Linus. Harrison Ford on the other hand was great and the whole film was wonderful and this is from me who doesn't usually like people messing with remakes of classic films. The updated story was completely believable and is the perfect film to curl up with on the sofa, making sure you have some chocolates and a cuddly blanket. Loved it!- Was this review helpful to you?

The best

And it differs from the orignal as in the setting is more modern and seeing harrison as an uptight business man is hilarious. Very well played though it lacks a little something. An excellent re-make
By a customer from Carlisle , 26 Apr 2009I like Audrey Hepburn and I don't usually like revisions of great films, but this is excellent - better than the original. Julia Ormond plays a very Hepburnesque character here and she does it in a believable way. Harrison Ford seems like a strange choice to begin with, but I found I warmed to him more than I did to Humphrey Bogart.- Was this review helpful to you?
