Not a bad little movie for it's time, somewhat dated now but still good to watch, my grandad liked it better, i prefer the remake.- Was this review helpful to you?

Propaganda at its best
By Chris Spain from Brighton , 28 Mar 2006A multi cultural war film ( no women though) exploring (exploiting?) national sterreotypes. Kipplingesque small brave group against heartless nasty enemy with Bogart not sure if he is in a gangster suit or a GI uniform !
great fun!- Was this review helpful to you?

FOOLS!
By a customer from Brighton , 15 Mar 2006This is one of the best films ever made, a true 'stand up and clap' movie. You uneducated chiefs have no heart and imagination. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you are simply wrong. Amazing, classic, eternal greatness. Bogey is the man!- Was this review helpful to you?

Bogey
By Ray from Silsden, West yorkshire , 31 Oct 2005A different Bogey, don't think I have seen him in a war film before, didn't do to bad a job of it though, the English accents were a bit OTT, very much propoganda but made during the war couldn't really expect antything else though- Was this review helpful to you?
