    [Highly rated reviewer]

It was refreshing to see that they didn`t do what they normally do with an indian film, which is to copy hollywoods latest blockbuster and then shred it to pieces. It had a great soundtrack which made you want to go out and buy the cd immediately. The script was well written. It had all the ingredients to make a good indian film, e.g, emotion, comedy. It is definately worth giving up 3 hours of your life and i would be greatly surprized if salaam namaste wasn`t the new catchprase!!!

  • Cheesy, but entertaining

I'm not really a big fan of bollywood films, but now and again I will see one of these more popular releases just for some light entertainment. This film delivers on that front. Sure it's cheesy, and at times you cringe at some scenes (*caugh*the last one in the hospital), but it's nevertheless a very charming film which can brighten up a dull evening.

Saif Ali is the star here, giving this film the support it needed to stay above average.

  • So bad I nearly puked

How sad that Preeti Zinta would bother with a film like this, so utterly devoid of charm or positive messages. I felt as much nausea as she must have done with her 'pregnancy', battling to be indifferent to the utter scummy scumbag of a flatmate...grrr. What are women supposed to make of this film? That the scoundrel somehow redeems himself after a couple of hours of tediousness? I honestly couldn't watch it to the end and felt sad to have wasted my time on it.

Very corny and flaky - no substance. I didn't even watch this movie to the end as it didn't maintain my interest long enough!

the film attempts to deal with the serious issues of sex before marriage, pregnancy etc.. but it does these very poorly imho. It somehow tries to fuse the standard menu of a bollywood film with real world issues, and the result is a hotchpotch of music/dance/comedy/theatre which does not sit well together at all!
