Excellent for it's time
By Jivan Sharma from York, England , 08 Apr 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I liked this film primarily because, being a Big B fan, it was nice to see some of his earlier work, before it all became too commercialised and over-the-top with gung-ho style entrances (Coolie to name one). The story unfolds in a few flashbacks and sets up the leading pair in an unfamiliar role-reversal, where the male reports to his female boss at work (Who also happens to be his ex-lover). It was also interesting to see a character of a mother but out of wedlock from that era of film-making. I would imagine it to be a little daring for 1971. A good little entertainer for a few hours.- Was this review helpful to you?
