[Highly rated reviewer]This was an exceptionally good film, admittedly harrowing in parts, but nonetheless tugged at the heart strings. The dialogue was excellent and believable, and Kristen Scott Thomas gave a performance of totally convincing perfection.

personal growthBy tenacity (1 review) , 12 Dec 2013Amazing film. Such depth & feeling in relation each of our 'personal histories'. It opened my heart. It taught me - in relation to my only son - to 'share' my past.
phenomenal viewingBy barleys (6 reviews) , 29 Nov 2013A powerful and moving film. Quite disturbing but a film to watch. Would recommend this . A phenomenal film worth a viewing.
Deeply moving. A must see!By demurediva (3 reviews) , 23 Nov 2013This movie was recommended to me and lived up to all my expectations. Thought provoking, deeply moving and harrowing at times. Kristin Scott Thomas brought a beautiful compassion to her role. This is a must see movie.
Unforgettable story and outstanding actingBy a customer , 17 Nov 2013An exceptional film. Kristin Scott Thomas is amazing as always, but the child star of the film is outstanding. It's a heartbreaking story, that will stay in your memory.
Moved in BrightonBy NaughtyNurse (3 reviews) , 13 Nov 2013What a film! Powerful, sensitive, well scripted, brilliantly acted, wonderfully well filmed. Will leave you touched and disturbed and thinking about it for a long time. Man's inhumanity to man and the tragedy of well-intentioned mistakes.
