A proper goonda film

Bachan is the best. Found his proper role in this film and his son is following well in his foot steps. Propoer goonda mara mare. Makes you think twice about going to the wrong places in Mumbai. You could end up getting your ghan kicked, big style!!!!!.

Silver has the best dialogues....hare rama hare krishna...superb laugh.....coool film, a must watch with the boys!!!!!!!

Indian Version Of The Godfather

I enjoyed this film, it has alot of similarities to the film the Godfather (part 1) but isnt an exact copy.. Its well directed and the cast has been well choosen. Its a pretty dark film and doesnt have any songs in it.. If u like Indian films and the original Godfather film U should watch this!!

Mediocre & comedy subtitles

The subtitling on this film is like a bad sketch from Goodness Gracious Me. The Hindi comes across so badly it's unreal.

Hint: When translating, don't use a call centre reject to do the job. Use someone with a bit of skill.

SOPHISTICATED, ARTISTIC, INTENSE

This was a good Movie. It starts with Ram Gopal Varma paying his respect to the Godfather and stating that Sarkar is his tribute to it. And that is exactly what it is. A movie that is truly inspired and not copied as alot of Bollywood movies are. Varma takes the formula and hits it hard and the result is brilliant. Not a single scene is lifted from the original. If you like your bollywood movies full of song and dance then stay clear you won't find any here.

Typical ramu

Loved it since I love all Ramu flicks. On the lines of satya/company. Good role plays by Amitabh as usual plus Abhishek does good. Overall all charecters gel very well
