When Kelly's grandfather invites the gang to his Hawaiian resort for summer vacation, they envision a fantasy getaway filled with carefree days at the beach, far away from the halls of Bayside High and its errant prince, Principal Belding. However, the trip turns into a working holiday when everyone pitches in to save Grandpa's resort from greedy land developers. Meanwhile, Zach falls in love with a beautiful local, Slater and Jessie try to resolve their differences and allow their fledgling romance to take flight, Samuel "Screech" Powers is mistaken for the descendent of a legendary tribal chief, and Belding shows up as the tour guide for an entourage of vacationing school principals! Despite the absence of haunted tiki idols, the kids find plenty of ways to wreck comic havoc in this feature-length episode of the long-running teenage television series.
