Absolutely AwfulBy a customer from London , 01 Nov 2010
[Highly rated reviewer]This film was rubbish, nowhere near as clever or interesting as the other Saw films, the story line was non existent and it was just constant blood and gore. Disappointing!! Don't waste your money!!

Saw enoughBy RJNeb2 (1013 reviews) from London , 08 Nov 2013And so it all finally ends and not before time. Originally conceived as two films until Saw VI disappointed at the box office, this has too much nonsensical plot crammed into too short a running time with too many nasty traps and too many characters we dont care a jot about. Director Greutert seems so concerned with piling up the 3D effects that he forgets to concentrate on the performances, with Russells shortcomings as a leading lady and Mandylors boredom with his part particularly coming to light.
Excellent endingBy Andybirkett (1 review) , 04 Nov 2013For me, personally, I thought it was the perfect ending to the collection...a lot of gore but still just as intense and clever. Great twist and would happily sit and watch the series again!
Where do I start?By SebShaw (2 reviews) , 08 Mar 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis was supposed to be an end to a somewhat entertaining and intelligent saga. What we got instead was a pure gross out Neanderthal of a film that pandered to cheep and lacklustre 3d 'effects' The only redeeming feature was seeing Tobin Bell in the film again. I was, like many looking forward to this, as I had loyal followed the franchise, often, but not always with anticipation. This film though, felt like a slap in the face to the fans, and to the other good films in the franchise. (SAW 1 obviously being the best, followed by SAW 2 then perhaps SAW 6, the rest feel clunky and awkward, but are still watchable non-the-less) The traps I'm sure were there just for the gross out factor, no 'intelligence' what so ever. I'm assuming this was for the 3D audience. The characters were forgettable and couldn't care less if they died. More hammy acting from the Woeful Mrs. Jigsaw too. Luckily the Character who played Hoffman has SOME acting prowess. In conclusion, a woeful attempt of a final chapter. We Dare you NOT to see this. Now, I saw this with trepidation, but roll on the re-boot...
The (almost) perfect end to a series of cult horror!By Wotnohair (13 reviews) , 07 Dec 2012If you have watched the previous six films then this is the perfect ending. How people can give this one star is beyond me and makes you wonder if they've understood the story that plays out over all 7 films. If you watch this as a stand alone then I can understand a one star rating. Gruesome is as gruesome does and Jigsaw is pure evil. Don't watch this while having your tea!
saw vii again again again....By Angelguard (31 reviews) from London , 31 Oct 2012Please no more sequels - theres only so much blood you can get from a franchise - unless you go down the supernatural route
