    Pacino burned on Scarface set

    Al Pacino was left badly burned after he grabbed the barrel of a newly-fired gun while shooting gangster classic Scarface. The Oscar-winning star, who played iconic character Tony Montana in the 1983 thriller, placed his hands on the burning hot barrel forgetting that 30 rounds had just been shot from it. The 71-year-old actor tells Press Association, "My hand stuck to that sucker." And the injury was so severe, Pacino couldn't shoot scenes for the movie for two weeks after the incident. Read more

    Brian De Palma is to use news footage, video blogs and court coverage to construct a documentary entitled Redacted. The film will tell the story of five US soldiers stationed in Iraq who were accused of various crimes against an Iraqi family, Production Weekly reports.
