Or you can rent each disc individually:
This is the most recent adaptation of The Scarlet Pimpernel, which was released by the BBC a few years ago and stars Richard E. Grant as the Pimpernel himself. Grant is eminently suited to the part and the series has a very lively feel to it ? with a perfect blend of action, excitement and tongue-in-cheek humour as the Pimpernel and his companions trick, con and cleverly master their way in and out of tricky situations, to rescue endangered people from the clasps of the Republicans in revolutionary France.
As the viewer you are brilliantly placed to be able to revel in The Pimpernel's successes and share in his excitement and pain as if you are in his inner circle of friends. I love this series ? it was fantastic on TV and it was great to watch again. I only wish they?d made more episodes!
On each disc you get two episodes, which are 1.5 to 2 hours long. This is definitely worth watching, and great entertainment for people of all ages because there is so much to appreciate. I highly recommend it!
Richard E Grant makes this Series., His swarve and charming character is just wonderful to watch, and you will find yourself laughing along with him. The plots are fast paced, and keep you guessing all the way through.
