As it says on the tin...

As with most Woody Allen films you have to be in the mood. Whilst a sedate setting, the minor scene changes and the well paced movement of dialogue make this a witty and interesting film. One cannot but reflect on past experiences even if it is just the falling out, making up and fatalistic realisation that your partner is still the person you love. I liked this film for all the above reasons and was relieved it didn't have any of his usual lengthy self indugent moments. Woody is Woody and Bette Midler is excellent .- Was this review helpful to you?

dont bother
By a customer from wales , 06 Dec 2006woody allens writing acting and directing abilities are lost on a child of the 90's. the film was dull and boring. middlers charicter was dissapointing. the only high light in this film was the credits with a middler cover track and knowing that the horror was over.- Was this review helpful to you?

In a word - AWFUL
By a customer from Wigan, England , 25 May 2005Terrible, awful, distaster movie, cr*p and all words like that. This was one of the worst films I've ever seen. Woody was doing his usual twitering on. What was he doing with his hair in a tail. He going bald and and he ties his hair back!! How could Bette get involved in the tripe. Avoid this film at all costs, if you go shopping and you see a couple arguing watch them instead it's free and you can walk away!! AVOID THIS FILM IT IS THE WORST OF THE WORST. ONE STAR RATING TOO MANY!!- Was this review helpful to you?
