So dull I switched it off

You see Jeff Bridges on the cast list and expect a half decent film....WRONG. This is slow moving, confusing and so so dull. The screenplay plods along at a snail's pace, I'm at a loss to tell you what the film was about...I gave up after 60 minutes still non the wiser. You have been warned AVOID waste of time and money.

Not Bad - with a little intrigue to the story

I quite enjoyed this movie and even saved it for my other half to watch as I knew it would be up his street.

It is a little slow I admit but the twists in the story kept me watching and intrigued.

If you're a person who likes to guess the outcome of a movie then this one might be for you.

    Am I missing something here?

Okay I'll admit I first rented this movie because I saw Morris Chestnut named as one of the actors but I did expect more.

I was not that impressed. It's about a guy who is in a serious relationship about to get married and therefore should lead a fairly normal life - until he agrees to run an errand for his boss out of respect. He ends up in a complex situation which he could have walked away from at several opportunities but he thought he was tough.

It is interesting how the "complex situation" involves more and more innocent people as the movie goes along and there are some gasping moments. Still I found the same effect could have been achieved if the movie was forty-five minutes shorter.

It's watchable, but nothing to write home about.

    Crime against cinema maybe

One of the most pointless films I've watched for a long time. I'm surprised I even made it through it. Plot twists that can be seen from a mile away, a story that makes no sense and a completely ridiculous and implausable ending.

A movie with a twist at the end

If you like geoff bridges you won't be too disappointed with this film.It may not be the best he's been in but i didn't think it deserved some of the previous reviews

    If only

If only this film had been directed by Tarrentino it would have been a much better film.

The lack of pace was disappointing though there was a good suprise twist at the end which made it more enoyable.

    A thought provoking film.

    A movie worth watching

I had this movie recommended to me by a friend and in turn pass that on to you the reader.

Having now watched it I concur, it is well worth watching. It is not in the league of classics but it is a good film, well acted, well structured and holds you’re interest throughout.

It claims to be based on a true event which may give it a bit more substance, you decide. What we have here is a good movie whether true or not.

    Very slow start

I did not really like this movie, it had a very slow begining. by the time i began to enjoy the film the movie it was over. The cast were very good in other words some them kept you glued to the screen, or in suspense . You wanted to know what role they played or if your assumptions of their role were correct. Overall, although it was based on atrue story i would not recommed the film.
