Having made its debut on television screens in 1969, SCOOBY-DOO: WHERE ARE YOU proved to be a popular staple of children's programming. Joined on a series of adventures by his partners in crime, Daphne, Freddy, Velma, and Shaggy, Scooby delighted in foiling any evil doers who crossed his path; and he usually earned a 'Scooby Snack' for his toils! Here, the gang heads to Hawaii, where they hope to take advantage of the beaches and fine surfing weather. Unfortunately trouble washes up on the shores in the shape of a disgruntled volcano, and a surfer who has vanished from the face of the planet. The action hots up with the appearance of the mysterious 'Wiki-Tiki', and becomes even hotter--literally--as the volcano teeters on the brink of eruption!

this dvd is superb. it is the 8th in the set. Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and the Mystery Inc. gang of Fred, Daphne and Velma, hit the golden beaches of Hawaii for the Big Kahuna of Hanahuna Surfing Contest, only to discover, that there is a terrible monster, about to show everyone the true meaning of the phrase in surfing 'wipe-out.'
The locals are convinced, that island spirits are furious over a new resort, being built on sacred ground, and when an army of tiny demons attacks the surfers, the ancient prophecies appear to be true.
Can the gang find out, who is behind the monster, before a volcano eruption? I am not going to spoil the film by telling you what happens, you will have to watch it to find out.
well worth renting out.
The kids ( 7 + 10) loved the original Scooby-Doo and it kept them quiet while me and the wife watched The Village. They even shouted at me for sending it back before they had watched it twice.....Recommended.
