    superb.....................

My daughter loved this scooby doo collection featuring The Harlem Globetrotters taken from the 'The New Scooby-Doo Movies'.

The Harlem Globetrotters, were a travelling comedy act showcasing basketball tricks and unsportsmanlike high jinks.

They had a team of well-known performers, led by Meadowlark Lemon.

They are naturally funny partners in Scooby's ghostbusting investigations.

This disc contains two of the three Harlem Globetrotters episodes entitled 'The Mystery of Haunted Island' and 'The Loch Ness Mess.'

    Well worth watching !

    Scooby-Dooby Doo!

Ah, the simplicity of Scooby-Doo. After years of watching Scooby-Doo, I still haven’t figured out how such a repetitive show entertained me week after week, day after day. You always knew what to expect with the various Scooby-Doo shows. Plenty of cowardice, Scooby and Shaggy eating like there’s no tomorrow and a mixture of ghosts, goblins, witches, monsters-you name it! Maybe the repetitiveness of the show is what attracted me to it in my youth.

On this release, there are two Scooby-Doo adventures, guest starring the famous basketball team, The Harlem Globetrotters. The first adventure is “The Mystery of Haunted Island”, the second is “The Loch Ness Mess”. The less I say about the adventures, the better. Fans of Scooby-Doo know that it’s not a show where you reveal anything, the fun lies in seeing the Scooby Gang solve the mystery.

If I’m honest, the two adventures on the DVD are not my favourites. They’re not bad and young children will certainly enjoy them but I found them to be slightly uneventful episodes, not as exciting as other adventures I have viewed.

Extras-wise, there’s not much apart from a music video and Karaoke with Scooby and Shaggy. Lightweight extras they may be but young children will love them. Overall, it’s a pretty decent DVD. Those over 21 will be able to relive their childhoods, those under 21 will just sit back and have some fun.
