god this is truely s**t!By fdr (1 review) from Nottingham , 03 May 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]This film was worse than 'Peices'. At no point do you care about the characters. The order of deaths is predictable if you have seen a horror film at least once. You can instantly tell who the bad guys are. The special effects have the feel of 'Wormhole Xtreme' for the SG1 fans.
However the first screamers was an brillient film, and instead of this rubbish, you should defo watch the first!

its differentBy unleashed2k (19 reviews) from Aberdeen , 05 May 2010if i was to base this film against the original it isnt nearly as good but thats is possibly down to the original being a brand new and great conceptm
taking this film as it is and forgetting the first one is it actually quite good a little predictable at times but on the whole some scenes i didnt expect.
the first film was so original and this film growing on what was happening in the first is quite original also
i would say definatly give this film a go
Carry On Screaming...By JHawk (102 reviews) from Edinburgh, Scotland , 26 Apr 2010... is a far better film than this.
I am almost ashamed I gave this a chance. I thought the original Screamers, starring Peter Weller, was actually not a bad wee action SF.
This is quite simply bad and utterly pointless.
I rented it out of morbid curiosity and also to see Lance Henriksen. Now I wish I hadn't. Got through the first half hour, which was insipidly uninspiring then fast forwarded through the rest, stopping briefly to watch Lance in action. He's the only reason this film actually gets half a star rating.
Please do not rent this movie, it is appalling on many levels.
Screamers 2 - The HuntingBy entertainmentman (210 reviews) from South Croydon , 02 Apr 2010'' A very underated science fiction movie with enough action, gore and a twist to the storyline to keep me watching till the end.''
enjoyable sci-fi flickBy Deanoson (115 reviews) from romford , 18 Dec 2009now i remember the first Screamers film back in 1996 and so i was interested to see how this sequel lived up to the first film .The film kicks off 13 years after the events of the first film with a ship sent to investigate a distress signal on Sirius 6b ..all human life had thought to have been wiped out by the screamers , their mission is to rescue any human survivors found on the planet. However they find that the Screamers are still around and have now evolved into half machine/half human hybrids and so they end up in a race agaisnt time to escape the planet with any survivors they find before a cosmic storms wipes out all human life on the planet .
The storyline is predictable ....the usual one by one ..everyone is killed off until we are left with one or two who manage to escape the planet in the nick of time ..etc . I rather enjoyed the film though ..plenty of action...blood ...gore ..shooting and the effects were not too bad for a relatively low budget movie . The ending annoyed me though ...not sure if it was intended to open the way for a possible third Screamers film ..but it was so obvious ..anyway overall a decent film if you switch your brain off and just enjoy it for what it is ...a fun sci-fi action romp ..
