i have seen all the different versions of scrooge and this one is by far the best, Very often musicals can be tiresome and the songs tend to get in the way of the film but not in this case. Albert finney is a master of his craft and he plays scrooge magnificently, this is a must see, especially at christmas- Was this review helpful to you?

I thought i had seen all the Scrooge films untill i came across this quite by accident on my rental list. I must have thought it was one i'd seen before. Anyway i'm so happy i did because it's brilliant, probably the best Scrooge i've seen. I can't get the song out of my head now...thankya very much!! LOVE IT!!- Was this review helpful to you?

A forgotten great.

Good casting. Lovely music.
