Scrubs is in my view the best TV to come out of any country anywhere! Its funnier than funny moments and hard-hitting storylines combine to create a super-sitcom which leaves the viewer wanting more! I have never met anybody who has seen the show who didn't like it!
The relationship between JD and the Janitor gets even better in the fifth series, and on one of the flashback episodes it goes back to the very first episode where he blames him for putting the penny in the broken door! Probobly the funniest moment of the series! The unfolding story and development of the charactors just keeps getting better and better!
Although I have to say that the show seems to be running out of ideas. As I mentioned there was at least 1 flashback episode in the series which could mean the beginning of the end? I'm surprised the program has managed to keep all of the original characters which is fantastic and just adds to the credability of the show, and the jokes just keep coming.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was JD's increasing 'campness' (did he order 'Appletinis' as much in previous seasons?) and the increasing softness of Doctor Cox and Kelso; but don't fret my Scrubs loving friends- the Janitor is still as funny as always! I'm not sure whether the writers can keep the gags coming for many more series, but the 6th season is as good as this and the previous ones, so maybe a 7th is in the pipeline? I hope so!
