A Definite WinnerBy Vanessa from Blackburn , 29 Apr 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]What a tearjerker! Unless you knew that this was a true story, you would have thought that this was just Hollywood throwing in all the cliches. An old timer, a businessman down on his luck, a boy with a disability and a mistreated horse. But, it's all true. And you don't have to be into racing to enjoy it. This is a real feel good movie, that avoids being overly-sentimental, and captures the inter-war period of America perfectly.

Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008An excellent heartwarming film, which is boosted by good acting performances, especially the horses.
The story is very good and it is interesting how the 3 leads plus Seabiscuit get together.
The horse racing scenes are very good and exciting to watch, especially the head-to-head with the "Admiral"
The only downside is the bad language and blasphemy which is unnecessary.
Overall I would reccommend this film.
Dont botherBy a customer from Hampshire , 29 May 2008It's too slow. And it's cheesy.
SeabiscuitBy a customer from Wickford , 20 Apr 2008Horse racing is not really my thing but I did enjoy this and found it sad in parts. Well acted. Worth a watch.
ExcellentBy Viewer (28 reviews) from Cardiff , 03 Apr 2008This was a thoroughly enjoyable movie and you don't need to be a horsey person to enjoy it. The acting was excellent. I had heard about the movie a while ago but it was better than I expected. It reminds me of the ghost whisperer where they learn about the temperament of a horse and work with it.
Not for kidsBy salsal (5 reviews) from Crieff , 15 Mar 2008Got this out for my horse daft daughter but we never got past the first half hour.
A little too much cruelty to horses..
Never saw the rest, so can't really comment!
