(11)Don't miss it because it's only an old series!
By Eskdaleman (14 reviews) , 26 Mar 2013It's such a pity that this series seems never to be re-broadcast. The stories are good, there is plenty of action, and the acting is excellent - particularly from Roy Scheider and the marvelous Jonathan Brandis. Heartily recommended- Was this review helpful to you?

enjoyable 90's sci-fi
By Basil4952 (62 reviews) from Leeds, England , 17 Feb 2011I remember this on TV in the 90's and enjoyed the 1st series. As i recall the second series went down hill, but did enjoy this.- Was this review helpful to you?

seaquest
By a customer from Lichfield , 30 Sep 2009More likely should be called seaquest - bascially it is trying to be star trek under water without the sci-fi element. Story lines are boring and Roy Schneider looks embarrassed most of the time. What a shame.- Was this review helpful to you?

This brings back memories...
By JimmyCee308 (12 reviews) from Bristol , 16 Apr 2009I remember watching this show back when it first came out in 1993, and it is just as good now as it was then. It was a shame they ripped up the format and started again for season 2, and then again for season 3, as this was the best season and I really enjoyed watching it, sixteen years on!
If you remember this, get it. If you don't, try it anyway - essentially, Star Trek of the sea!- Was this review helpful to you?
