Raw, realistic and human.

Amazing how the Scandinavians seems to combine good detective stories that are raw and realistic with personal stories. The characters are also real with warts and all. The acting is also believable.
AND, I am glad I am not it that business; people at its worst and best.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Swedish crime with a lot of thought.

Review of two halves - husband loved it, i found it a bit overbearing. Sebastian is a trouble (as ever) profiler who bullies his way into investigating a couple of murders. Good and Swedish, I just find the character self indulgent. But a potentially moving, who dunnit.- Was this review helpful to you?

Ultimately rewarding to watch.
By Ianto (4 reviews) from Bromley , 17 Aug 2012Bergman is worth persisting with - in the first episode he seems unlikeable and bent on self destruction. By the end of the second (there are only two on the disc) we had warmed to him and there seemed to be the possibility of redemption for him. Some parallels with Wallender e. g. story about his daughter, but different enough to be worth watching. Lots of strong minor characters well acted.- Was this review helpful to you?
