Not bad. Action fans will enjoy

The next of JC Van Damme’s long list of easy action movies and it is exactly what you might expect from a Van Damme movie. It would appear the director has tried to change his style slightly to a tenser thriller movie rather than an all out violent action movie and to a degree Second in Command does this but JC Van Damme is no Denzel and before long it becomes much the same as his usual movies, female romance interest, all action hero, initially ignored before battling his way to an eventual victory. Some of the acting, mostly from the supporting roles was shocking and the script was full of holes but it was good enough entertainment and there is a little tension with hostage situations, sieges and even a late twist that we did not expect…much…..Not bad. Action fans will enjoy well enough. 3 Stars.

    Avoid at all costs!

This movie is bad - even for JCVD.

It felt like i was made by a postman who one day woke up and decided to have a stab at making a movie.

Predictable, cliched, poorly directed and an utter waste of time.
