A good film, worth watching - shame about the story

While the story is frankly absurd, based on a simplistic psychological premise, Fritz Lang rises above it to produce a film well worth seeing.
This Hollywood film noir lacks the depth and subtlety of Lang's earlier incomparable M (made in Germany), but it makes good use of a sparky script, equally sparky acting and creative cinematography.- Was this review helpful to you?
