Secret Diary Of A Call Girl - Series 3

I did like the first season of this show and the 2nd was still good, although certain parts were starting to dissapoint me. This 3rd season still has good moments and good acting. What has made this show more and more difficult to watch is Billie Piper's character of Hannah/Belle. As more and more episodes are shown, it becomes clear that this is a woman who treats the men in her real life as means to ends. She has treated her best friend poorly and like her gay best friend. She is keen to engage in personal relationships but on her terms and treats them as means to ends. She is happy to sleep with other men in her job, but takes it as betrayal when a boyfriend does it to her. She becomes more and more indulgent and you see that money is all she ultimately cares about. Not content with having safety deposit boxes full of cash, a luxury flat, a designer wardrobe and a writing career bringing in even more money she is intent on making people around her miserable because of her views of relationships. That is ultimately what made this season dissapointing for me. Hannah/Belle is an indulgent control freak, and the more you see that side the harder it is to like her or care about her when she is upset or crying.
