Director Gregory Dark's contemporary B-movie gorefest has all the necessary trappings to leave genre fans satisfied, and others slightly nauseous. The scene is set when a group of juvenile delinquents arrive at a roach-infested ruin of a hotel, where they have agreed to work in exchange for lighter sentences. They are led by a cop who lost his hand four years ago in a struggle with a brutal serial killer whom he killed with a bullet to the head--or so he thought. Now, the very same hulking monster, played by WWE wrestler Kane, haunts the halls of the dilapidated hotel, and with no further ado begins picking off the teenagers one by one. He metes out his own brand of justice: having been taught as a child by his punishingly Christian mother that the eyes--the windows to the soul--must be cleaned to please God, he gouges out the eyes of each of his victims. The camera does not shy away from this or any other terifically squirm-inducing action, while the hyperkinetic editing maintains a head-spinning pace. The characters remain one-dimensional and stereotypical, true to teen slasher tradition, but there are enough twists and gleeful scares to make it well worth the while.

When I saw the trailor for this film I was exited i saw something in the mould of friday the 13th but with more interesting plot line rather than just a run of the mill slasher in tired 80's package.
Credit must be given to Kane For his on screen presanceit was a credibile performance by the big man (although it was irritating in the extras when he refuses to drop his WWE Charactor during his interview and talk as Glen Jacobs)
The Film Has A Lot Of Dark Humor mixed with some excellent gore scenes, most of death scenes are done brutally with some brilliantly used irony (e.g. mobile phone down throat scene), and some excellent CGI scenes which i don't normally enjoy but were used to great effect.
Reasons are given why this is event is happening and it also has a good back story which sets you up and gives you an insight into Jacob Goodnight.
This Film Is miles better than the WWE's other attempt at creating a blockbuster The Marine (John Cena) which bombed and rightfully so.
However I would like to see more Kane On Movie screens, i feel this role in particular can be reprised over and over, and why not Michael Myers, Jason and Freddy have been killed adleast 50 times between them.
