Look into their eyes, can't you see the sin?

After Halloween and Friday the 13th, there was nothing... until the SAW trilogy made a lot of money. Hard Horror is hot again, and with the success of the first Hostel came See No Evil in 2006. With great characters, an eerie premises and a truly scary villain, this is one of the better Slasher movies of the last years. Professional wrestler Kane seems to be born for stuff like this. He is extremely scary in every way and the death scenes are very intense. The story somehow follows the slasher flick route, but there are enough 'popcorn' moments to keep you on the edge of your seat. If you want to be scared, this is a great movie. If you are a slasher fan, this one is made especially for you, Do Not Miss It !!

    A good pscho-killer-by-numbers movie

I watched this film with low expectations, but was nicely surprised. Yes, this follows the most traditional plots for a slasher horror film, a huge unstoppable man-monster vs a group of attractive teenagers trapped in a decrepit building for some inplausible reason, but for all it's obvious plot 'twists' this is a solid horror film that delivers some good shocks and greusome moments.

This film does not break any new ground for the horror genre, but fans of Jason Vorhees and similar films will enjoy this.

WWE fans will also enjoy Glen Jacobs' ('Kane') movie debut, essentially building on his raw charcter, but also showing some good acting skills.

I would not be surprised to see him in more horror films in the future.

    Honest reviews

The other reviews combined sum this film up truely. I thought there could be some new material here but was disappointed. Sure 'kane' was menacing but, still seemed to be in the 'ring' still. Fair twist in the end if not should have been expected. But does end on an anti-climax, and yes the players didn't make you feel any sympathy for them so you didn't really care who lived or died. Three stars is a bit generous, but was good filming and the sets are good, just no storyline to speak of that hasn't been done so many times before.

    Fantastic See No Evil.

'See No Evil' sees a bunch of juvenile delinquents sent to a hotel so they can clean up their act. Of course, a monstrous murderer (played by Kane) also happens to be living in this hotel. Kane was good as the killer, and is totally believable as a fearsome killer who removes peoples eyes with his finger nail. Fantastic Horror/Thriller with just enough gore and plenty of scares. I really enjoyed this film.

    Kane is a monster

tale of a derranged freak of nature who likes to gouge out peoples eyes ............

I watched this assuming that it would be another naff slasher film, however i was suprized at the quality of this film Kane plays a nasty ghoulish creature similar to his in ring persona. The kills are gory and satisfying for all your goree hounds out there.

The only thing was that the cast were so interested in appearing bad ass that you never really cared if they lived or died.

You won;'t find any suprizes here its a slasher through and through, but its a good one

Very Good For A WWE Film

When I saw the trailor for this film I was exited i saw something in the mould of friday the 13th but with more interesting plot line rather than just a run of the mill slasher in tired 80's package.

Credit must be given to Kane For his on screen presanceit was a credibile performance by the big man (although it was irritating in the extras when he refuses to drop his WWE Charactor during his interview and talk as Glen Jacobs)

The Film Has A Lot Of Dark Humor mixed with some excellent gore scenes, most of death scenes are done brutally with some brilliantly used irony (e.g. mobile phone down throat scene), and some excellent CGI scenes which i don't normally enjoy but were used to great effect.

Reasons are given why this is event is happening and it also has a good back story which sets you up and gives you an insight into Jacob Goodnight.

This Film Is miles better than the WWE's other attempt at creating a blockbuster The Marine (John Cena) which bombed and rightfully so.

However I would like to see more Kane On Movie screens, i feel this role in particular can be reprised over and over, and why not Michael Myers, Jason and Freddy have been killed adleast 50 times between them.

    VERY GOOD

I WAS ACTUALLY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED HOW GOOD THIS FILM TURNED OUT TO BE.

I HAVE WATCHED ALOT OF HORROR FILMS AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM OUT THERE ARE A LOAD OF RUBBISH. BUT THIS ONE HAD A GOOD STORYLINE AND IT CREEPED ME OUT IN A FEW PLACES.

    WELL WORTH A LOOK !!!!

Poor, and I'm a fan of Kane!!!

A very poor teen-horror. In the style I know what you did, Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chain Massacre thing. The acting was awful from everyone involved. Kane was okay, purely because all he had to do was looking menacing. The death scenes (there are quite a few), are unimaginative, and either over the top (i.e. trying to be really gorey), or they are funny because they are so rubbish.

The film is also quite slow, and boring.

I do not recommend the film at all. There are many better horror films than this, such as the remake of The Hills Have Eyes, and The Grudge. Not this though.

    Typical slahser movie

If you like slasher films you'll probably like this. It's pretty gory and not what i would've expected from WWE films. Kanes says like 4-5 words in the whole film but who cares when he just looks so dead behind th eyes.

I've seen worse films than this so i guess it's worth a rental.
