Series 7 is a bit of a transitional phase for Seinfeld, and also the last series that Larry David worked on. It takes a few episodes to get into its stride but once you hit the classic Soup Nazi episode the quality hits high and stays there. The running storyline of George's engagement initially seems like a bit of a cop out and a step into the normal formulaic American sitcom but quickly it becomes apparent that this is not the case. If you've not seen Seinfeld before, go back to the beginning and start there. If you're a fan of the earlier series though, you'll find some classic episodes here (with more to come in the final 2 series).
