Seinfeld - Season 8 Details

So, series 8....Larry David has left, and Seinfeld nears its end.

But if you're worried about the quality of writing trailing off, there's no need to. The characters are so well known by now that this series really benefits from frequent tinkering with the Seinfeld world with many episodes working on a transformation-of-a-character basis.

For example, in the 'Bizarro World', Elaine makes a new group of friends, the exact opposites of Jerry, George, and Kramer. In 'The Abstinence', George abstains from sex and becomes an intellectual. Jerry and Kramer switch apartments and identities in the 'Chicken Roaster', and Elaine becomes 'Susie'.

The episode endings tend to be a little more contrived in this series, but on the whole its as hilarious and cynical as ever.

And, for those missing Larry - keep an eye out for the mysterious 'man in a cape'! (As well as an ear out for the wonderful Steinbrenner, of course)
