Hoop dreams can come true - Will Ferrell's basketball comedy Semi-Pro has dribbled its way to the top of the US box office chart, according to the latest figures from Nielsen. The movie - the tale of no-hopers the Flint Michigan Tropics and their bid for NBA glory - which also stars Woody Harrelson and Andre Benjamin of Outkast, took over $15 million on its opening weekend. The Bank Job, starring Jason Statham, Saffron Burrows and the ever-debonair Peter Bowles, has stolen in at number one in the UK box office chart, according to the latest figures from Nielsen.
