Scene for scene, SERENITY is more engaging and certainly better written and acted than any of Mr. Lucas's recent screen entertainments.
I lost the will to watch more after the first few cliches. I did try to get into this but I could not find anything different or anything that had an outstanding or redeeming quality.
It is a shame because I usually manage to enjoy either the storyline or some good acting or special effects which I like about a movie but sadly I found this one just too mediocre.
Watched this a few weeks ago - can't recall much of it so it didn't really make that much of an impression.
Although the Christmas party season is approaching there are still plenty of opportunities to stay in and watch a good DVD.
