This is a typical cheap American comedy. Matthew Perry looked awkward and unfunny compared to his usual 'Chandler' role. Liz Hurley tries hard in this movie and just about pulls it off. It is an easy going film with the odd laugh but a weak storyline - watchable but never taxing! If 'weekend at Bernies' had you howling in the 80's, then this might just be your cup of tea!- Was this review helpful to you?

By laneyb (256 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 18 Feb 2011I quite liked this 'Chick Flick', I will watch it again one day. I love Matthew Perry in Friends, and as Friends is the only thing i've seen him in, I thought I should watch something else...
It's difficult to drag the character of 'Chandler Bing' who he plays in Friends, away from yourself, but, once you pick up with the character he plays in this, it's not so bad!!
I need to see more of his films I think!!
Liz Hurley is ok although i'm not a great fan.
But good to see Amy Adams pop in there for a while.
A film for the ladies for a night in, order your chinese, crack open the wine, and watch!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Awful
By a customer from West Sussex , 05 Oct 2006I'm a huge Friends fan and my favourite character is Chandler. I realise that Matthew Perry is an actor and so I wasn't expecting 'Chandler' in this movie but I thought this character was flat. I'm not a fan of Elizabeth Hurley, she can't act for one thing, so her performance was as expected - awful. All in all a flat, embarrassingly dire film. I got this on the strength of Matthew Perry and I was very disappointed.- Was this review helpful to you?
