    This movie is terrible there is little dialogue but when there is some its in swedish or some such language it looks like it was filmed on a Camcorder by some students one weekend in the woods. Donot on any circumstance rent this movie its complete rubbish.

  • Ignore the bad reviews, it's good, but not easy

    Great film - but if you can only cope with superheros or scifi and happy endings this is not for you. It's gritty. Camera work is obviously meant to make you feel like you are watching fly on the wall documentary not a Hollywood epic full of special effects - it takes a few minutes to get used to, but makes sense in the context of the film. Everything else is really realistic - they even draw their swords from scabbards without the stupid 'kerching' sound that is always overlaid on any film with swords. 10 out of 10 for authenticity on that basis alone. But as I say, don't watch it if you are an imbecile, have a short attention span, or like everything made obvious for you.

    Total rubbish. Stupid camera work. Awful acting. Annoying and a waste of time. My seven yr old grandson could do better.

    I knew I should have watched the 8 hour mini-series on the history of potatoes. It would have been much more enthralling.

    The title draws you in, but the director, producers and actors let the audience down with a multitude of cinematic screw ups, from poor filming to irrelevant soundtrack, this film has it all, 10 out of 10 for making a poo film as well as the viking actually having a dump in the film, what no andrex.

    The script would only have covered one A4 sheet of paper, grunts were more the order of the day rather than spoken words. What a total waste of time and effort.
