Can't get enough Sex ...& The City!!!
By GraftheGreatest (15 reviews) from Harrow , 05 Jul 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
This picks up a few months after Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jesica Parker) has broken up with Big (Chris Noth). Unsatisfied Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is still dating James, the man of her dreams who is everything she wants (except unable to 'satisfy' her). The others; Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) & Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) add to this great cast. The 6 episodes here are very funny, especially 'The Cheating Curve' & the good news is that S&TC will have to reach its 4th season before peaking. The 5th is too short to gain momentum but the 6th & final more than makes up for lost ground.
The hilarious 'P***y Man' in the 'Freaks' episode is also a standout scene but there are so many to choose from I've lost count. The sixth episode ends with Carrie & Big trying for the second time.
This is a rare 'comedy'; it is funny, witty, urbane, camp, unashamedly honest, savage & yet it has a real heart. That is why it's new & fresh & different & why it stands out.
Parker, HBO & Michael Patrick King ensure each episode has high production values & worthy scripts. Enjoy those girls (unless you're an uptight, '70's style, repressed straight guy, i.e. most guys) & their fabulous, ridiculous loves & lives. 5/5- Was this review helpful to you?

is SATC for me ?
By Cinderzem (5 reviews) from Ashford , 31 Aug 2010If this is the question you're asking then really you need to be considering what sort of person you are. When I first heard the storylines etc for SATC I wasn't sure that it was going to be my cup of tea. Then I caught a glimpse of the first film when someone I knew was watching it. The girls are all about glitz and glam and I loved it. So I thought that watching the full set of SATC would be a good idea considering I enjoyed the movie so much. This paritcular series is one of my favourites as not only does it have the humour of the 4 girls but does actually include some wise words from Carrie. What I've seen throughout this series I will most probably use in future as they use issues that they use in SATC. I am going to continue watching SATC as I have got really into it and can't seem to stop watching it.
I hope everyone else enjoys SATC as much as I have.- Was this review helpful to you?

HILARIOUS IF YOU HAVE THE STOMACH AND A GREAT SOH!
By venezuela (157 reviews) from Isleworth , 19 Jul 2010This season 2 is just hilarious. As all characters have settled into their characters it can only get better. The myth of big versus small is bought into the series with comedy and an excellent script. Then what to do when you see an ex and how to avoid him also comes to light in the most comical way. This series is very explicit, after seeing the movies I forgot just how racy all of this was.... Look out for the sex therapist scene. I was in hysterics. Such brilliant casting even of actors in their seventies! Be careful who you watch it with though as this is not for the faint hearted!- Was this review helpful to you?
