Very good film, It was...

Very good film, It was visually stunning and held our interest throughout the 3 and a half hours. One point to note is that Part 2 follows part 1 at the end of the DVD. When the Part 1 credits came on, I was cursing roundly , thinking I would have to order part 2 separately- Was this review helpful to you?

Remarkable story, well told

Only criticism is that I think it skims over the time spent on the ice which makes the ordeal seem much shorter than it actually was - worth reading one of the many excellent accounts of the expedition to complement the film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Shackleton-Leadership hero for today?

If you want to know about leadership, endurance and sheer determination Shackleton is your man.
If every British business leader had as much guts, courage and charisma as a Shackleton did, then we wouldn't be in the mess we are now!- Was this review helpful to you?
