A remake of an older anime series of the same name, SHADOW SKILL updates its predecessor's basic action/fantasy premise with a much lighter tone. In the kingdom of Kuruda, the mighty band of martial-arts warriors known as the Sevalle are king. While young Gau dreams of one day joining the group's hallowed ranks, his older sister, Elle, is already a highly skilled Sevalle member. The trouble is that Elle is a hard-drinking party girl who would rather engage in booze-fueled antics than train her younger brother in the Sevalle's mystic ways. Produced by the acclaimed animation studio DEEN, the high-octane anime series continues with this collection of episodes 18 through 21.
