Good film
By poonam rai from London , 12 Dec 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
It is sad that it took more than sixty years to make a film that properly recognised Udhams sacrifice for justice. We do know however that the man that led the massacre General Dyer died a broken man, his actions were condemned by the army and British public at large, as well as being lambasted by all sides in the Houses of parliament.
44 years later the goverment of india led its own massacre in Amritsar killing six thousand Sikh pilgrims at the Golden Temple by contrast this action was met with unequivical praise by the indian parliament, the army decorated these killer generals beyond measure and it was widely met with jubilation by the non-Sikh indian public. This crime raised its own Udham Singh in the guise of Beant and Satwant Singh whom as Udham before them sought justice, they were to attain this justice at the highest price, It is my sincere hope that It doesn't take sixty years for a film to be made to eulogise their great sacrifice.- Was this review helpful to you?

CHRONICLE OF A FORGOTTEN PERSONALITY
By a customer from N W England , 05 May 2006Almost in the same league as the two better biopics on Bhaghat Singh (The Manoj Kumar starrer 'Shaheed' and the Ajay Dewgan starrer 'The Legend'). A brave attempt to chronicle the life of Uddham Singh, who was labelled a terrorist by the establishment then and a number of parallels can be seen with paranoia rife in the present time. Those who enjoyed 'RaNg De Basanti' will appreciate this.- Was this review helpful to you?

Outstanding..!!
By Hemant Yadav from Manchester, England , 24 Jan 2006The very best freedom fight movie evermade based on true fact. Raj Babbar makes Shaheed Uddham Singh live with his brilient performance. The script is very stong and so is the screenplay which makes you jump out of your couch. Great movie which should not be missed at any cost.- Was this review helpful to you?
