    wonderful, harrowing movie,

This is just a wonderful, harrowing movie, held together by some superb

acting, a sort of Indian Godfather and quite a saga. The climax to the

movie is absolutely gripping and the movie is lifted out of the ordinary

by the sensitive, nuanced performances of the principle characters.

On the other hand you can never entirely forget that this is a

Bollywood movie.. especially when the first quarter of this long films

seems like an idyllic love story, only to end abruptly with an exploding

car on a dusty Indian road. Then there are the dances, the casual

inclusion of a swaggering shah rukh khan, the bizarre injection of

humour after a bloody murder... yup, it's Bollywood alright.

    OK, not the best

Not the best bollywood movie I have seen, but worth adding to the list as a low priority I guess.
