After being severely dissapointed by 'The Founding of a Republic' and it's poor marketing I was so happy with this, my next rental.
Excellent fight scenes, a great plot and some brilliant actors. It was a nice suprise to see Jackie Chan pop up half way through too.

By Labsnark (3 reviews) , 01 Jun 2013Definitely among my top five all-time favourite films. Andy Lau and Nicholas Tse are brilliant protagonists and Jackie Chan plays his character well. The monks are variously hilarious, pensive, deep and brave. I fell in love with Bingbing Fan; she makes her character simply beautiful. The film has a simple story line, but great depth, some humour and some sombre and thought-provoking scenes. And if you don't cry during the final scenes, you either have no heart or you are already dead.- Was this review helpful to you?

If you don't mind sub-titles WATCH IT
