For Raisaheb Amarnath Kapoor money is more important than anything. It was for money that he neglected his wife to death. It was for money again that whenever his son Vicky cried he was given a spoonful of brandy and was looked after by the Raisaheb''s friend Munshiji. Certainly, as Vicky grew older, he took to bottles of liquor and fell for a dancer named Meena. Time changed. Raisaheb''s partners cheated him and he lost heavily in business. They wanted Vicky to marry one of the partner''s daughters but learnt that Vicky was in love with Meena. They sought to kill Meena but failed in their attempt. Towards the end, Raisaheb realizes his fault. And as luck would have it, Vicky and Meena get married.

    best alcohol movie made

    pls watch if yr a fan of alcohol and amitabh because he is at his best in here. The car scene with all those bottles in his boot is one to cherish. the songs are a joy and the story is suspenseful also.Kishore kumar saab won the award for best singer in 84 for the songs and especially for manziley apne jaga hey. rated film

    Very poignant lesson

    The sacrifices one has to make in life reflects the ending one will have. It shows the common causes of behavioural problems in child when a parents neglects to do their duty.

    Recommended for parents.
