    Super Sharpe

Another brilliant episode from Sharpe. It is such a shame these aren't shown in order. The last episode I saw he was burying his wife. This time he's marrying another woman!

Good but not as good as the book.

'Sharpe's Siege' finds Sharpe marrying his sweetheart but he has to leave immediately to capture a French fort in the Pyrenees. While he fights the French his wife is struck down with a life-threatening fever.

A good but abridged adaptation of the book of the same name by Bernard Cornwell only slightly spoilt by the wooden acting of the miscast Sean Bean.

    Beware how you order these

This series is excellent!!What a shame we did not recieve it in the order it was written, it would have been so much more enjoyable. Beware how you order this series as they don't send them in order

    Another good adventure

The Sharpe's series does give you good entertainment. The adaptation can be quite different from the novels, but it doesn't really matter as it all hangs together well as a discrete adventure.
