A well-meaning but soporific TV examination of the tricky subject of child abuse. Joanna Kerns plays the seemingly content woman who starts behaving strangely following the birth of her first child. When it becomes apparent that her behaviour may be connected to her own upbringing, subsequent revelations start to tear the family apart. Kerns gets solid support from the likes of Michael Brandon, Tony Roberts and former Charlie's Angel Shelley Hack, but director Linda Otto lays on the tears and melodrama with a shovel.
Very gripping and poignant movie about one of the most heinous crimes since the year dot.
When a woman starts to have flash memories of what happened to her as a child; she decides to find out the truth.
Little does she know how big this can of worms is, especially as it affects the other members of her family. Shocking drama.
