Best Shaun episodes so far...
By nigelsars (5 reviews) from Nottingham , 29 Oct 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
The first DVD released to have episodes from series 2. Now shot in HD the picture quality seems to be much sharper. Also noticeable is the changes to some of the characters in the series, particularly Bitzer who now has added fur.
The 8 episodes (which are 7 minutes each in length) on this DVD are:-
Twos Company,
Double Trouble,
Bitzers New Hat,
Everything Must Go,
In the Doghouse,
Eweve Been Framed,
Hide and Squeak,
Frantic Romantic.
My favourite episode was the title episode of the DVD (Two's Company) in which a bedraggled sheep lands in the flock. After a wash the sheep appears to be attractive to Shaun, and whilst Bitzer tracks down her rightful owner the flock are kept amused trying to watch Shaun and Lola's antics. But will Bitzer threaten their new found friendship tracking down Lola's owner?
Appealing to children and adults, Shaun the sheep is a great addition to the Aardman stable of characters whose ability to bring clay figures to life is simply magical.
Can't wait for the next DVD from the series...- Was this review helpful to you?
