    She's Worth The effort.

This South Korean film from 2005 is about a female rookie police detective who goes undercover in a high school to befriend the daughter of an elusive gangster in the hopes of getting him to turn against his former associates. There the hapless detective has to cope with school bullying and exams. (Oh no!) Kim Seon-ah is charismatic in the leading role and the film is a nice mix of comedy, action and drama which although not the most original film I've seen, it is effortlessly entertaining and does pass the time pleasantly enough. Some of the wire assisted fighting looks out of place, but that is a small criticism of an otherwise film well worth making the effort to see.
