...that the end of this series is going to have you reaching for the tissues. As you've gathered from the previous two volumes the we're looking at a normal guy and his anything but normal girlfriend. The backdrop is that of a global war with no end in sight.

    Except for one.

All I'll say is that the war will end. Anything else would be a spoiler. To see how Shuji and Chise fare, you'll just have to rent this :)

  • Beautiful but depressing.

(This review is for the entire series.) I just didn't enjoy this. I have to admit that I have grown rather tired of the school girl fantasy that is constantly re-hashed in the Manga format. I'm aware that it's obviously not aimed at my sex or age group, but it didn't really bother me at first, now I'm pretty sick of it. So 'She' automatically had that going against it. I origionally gave it the benefit of the doubt, imagining it would be fairly action packed. But it wasn't. This was just a school girl romance with an unusual twist - said school girl was kidnapped by the government and turned into an ultimate weapon. Pretty daft, even by standards of Manga. But, in it's favour, it is beautifully animated (which is what earned it it's extra half star)... yep, that's my only compliment. The characters were whingy and annoying. The story line was stupid and dull. I'm not sure how I even made it to it's predictable and unsatisfying end. This is definately something I would recommend most Manga fans to avoid. But if you prefer the more soppy story driven romance Mangas and you fancy something similar but with an odd twist then maybe, just maybe, this is worth watching. Other wise, steer clear.
