Sherlock Holmes Catalogue, The - The Last Vampyre

In a small village, Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett) and Dr. Watson (Edward Hardwicke) investigate several mysterious deaths believed to be victims of a vampire. The villagers suspect their newest resident, John Stockton (Roy Marsden), whose ancestors were burned there as vampires 100 years ago when a young girl was found with a gash in her neck. When Stockton arrives for a visit, a young baby is murdered and naturally the superstitious town points the finger at him. Stockton plays on their fears, as he's an accomplished student of occult ritual. Even Holmes cannot quite believe his own eyes.

    Classic Sherlock Melodrama!

Another classic outing for jeremy bretts holmes. full of overacting( its the law for holmes), sinsiter characters, and more twists than a turkey twizzler this is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Holmes goes to an english village for a spot of vampire hunting, can he save the damsals in distress? course he can, solve the crime?goes with out saying, will watson fall in love and get in a fight?elementry

    prove vampires exist? well maybe.

if you dont mind slightly dodgey production effects of 80s/90s tv shows but it adds to the atmoshphere.

    Enjoy!
