based on a true story with cast made up of real life psychiatrists offering their medical opinions. interesting concept more of a re-enacted documentary than a 'movie'. lead actor was brilliant in his role as the former judge. an insight into insanity and its treatments in europe during the 1890's. have to say i was more than intrigued by the fabulous production design.

Just could not get into this dramatized doc so gave up. Trying to explain the path to madness that Schreiber suffered.

  • OK doc for those interested in mental health

For those who work in mental health this is an interesting documentary - whether a counsellor/psychotherapist etc. It's about someone with schizophrenia and what really is the best method....dependent on who you see, or what method you feel best. All had different ideas. Worth a watch if interested in mental health.
