Without this 70s kung fu hotch potch there would be no Kill Bill. A 16th century Ronin avenges the death of his wife whilst pushing his son about in a wooden pram. Superficially bizarre and hysterical, under scrutiny it reveals itself to be a stylistic tour de force representing all the best bits of 70s kung fu history flicks. Not really a film in itself but edited together from a series of 6 films known as the 'Babycart series' .Badly dubbed and edited. Geysers of blood and wonderful set pieces such as 'the baby in the well'. Not everyone's cup of tea but I loved this film.
