    [Highly rated reviewer]

'Shoot On Sight' is neither gripping nor riveting but a complete waste of time and I dont understand why bollywood makes films concerning subjects like this or films with titles like salam india.

Avoid. Awful acting from nearly everyone, not helped by awkward script and clumsy directing. Very little to like, but Brian Cox was ok.

  • You can see who the terrorist is from 10 miles off....

I admit I only rented this for a laugh to see Clemency Burton-Hill on screen as I dated her older brother, Perry Hill, in 1994-1995 and I just wanted to see what kind of an actress she became but she's only in it for tiny segments and doesn't even get an actors credit at the beginning on the screen...my fascination then was drawn by Greta Scacchi's spectacular eye bags...do British actors not go in for botox and plastic surgery? Where was the make-up artist? As for the film, it's pointless...you can see who the terrorist is from 10 miles off and even Brian Cox can't save this...the acting is hammy.....

This story is about a boy from Pakistan who is related to a high ranking British policeman. He comes to stay with this family, meets a group who radicalise him and he gets involved in planting a bomg in a busy shopping centre at the sam time as the policemans son and wife are there at a book signing event. All things come together for a dramatic ending. Worth a watch, but a little to close to current politics, so the realism took the enjoyment out of the film for me.

.... but I personally thought the acting skills of the lead character let down the film. However, still quite an entertaining watch.
