Two young London con artists, one British, one American, live as lonely bachelors in their secret hideout apartment thinking of new ways to financially fleece their victims. When they hire Georgie, their new secretary, they don't take into account the effect she will have on their hearts. In this daft yet endearing romantic comedy from director Stefan Schwartz, two friends — American Dan Futterman and Briton Stuart Townsend — try to pull off a series of money-making scams. From selling bogus voice-recognition computers to nonexistent loft insulation, the boys are doing well until mutual love interest Kate Beckinsale sets them at odds. This is an Ealing comedy-style caper in a contemporary setting with both a high cuteness factor and some imaginative gags. But it overstays its welcome and succumbs to a schmaltzy conclusion.

    Brilliant!

This film is ace, not full of violence, not full of over rated bimbo stars but a good mix of a hand ful of good actors. Storyline is brilliant and highy recommended to all who want to be nicely entertained and watch a genuine film.
