The name says it all. You will never disappointed whe you slot in a Raj Kapoor film in your dvd player. Raj and Nargis have good chemistry , they certainly play the best on screen couple.
The movie has some songs and one very very very catchy one, I think its the first one.

All Time Classic
By Shalini Ayre from London , 22 Feb 2005Its a great film, filled with the usual things that make an Indian Film. There's real emotion with characters, its makes you laugh, cry, annoyed...thankfully no extended fight scenes!!
Its a tad long, but what else do you expect from an Indian film.
Excellent songs that'll you hum afterwards. And thrown in for good luck a moral at the end!

Indian heart

Although the story has been told a million times since, this original still shows what Indian cinema is capable of.
Raj Kapoor and Nargis make a lovely couple. Their innocence grows into love and understanding of each other as they come to terms with life in independent India.- Was this review helpful to you?
